Kaiya's Pool Battle Wounds

While DaNae was here we took Tavia, Kaiya and Allie to the Roosevelt Pool. We had a lot of fun but left with battle wounds on our leg and chin. The area all around the pool was cement which made getting in and out hard as well as not paying attention :)

Sisters

Tim spent some time taking pictures of the girls yesterday. They are so darn cute. Kaiya is just in love with her baby sister. After we got done taking pictures and picked up Allie she got all upset and signed "more"....she wanted to hold Allie longer isn't that completely sweet. She is such a good big sister. God has blessed us so far beyond what we would have ever hoped for. Thank you Lord for these beautiful little angels. Please help us be the parents you want us to be and to continue to point them to YOU!

Allie's Announcement and Pictures

Fun with family and friends

I just wanted to say "hi" to all the family. These past two weeks since Allie's birth have been a whirlwind and a blessing to get to see so much family. Matt & Gretchen--we are so glad that Allie came in time for you to spend some time with her. I'm going to have to get some pictures from you with the two of you and her. HAPPY 30th MATT...it was nice that we got to go putt-putt and spend time together. Thanks also both of you for being apart of Allie's dedication/baptism. We can't wait to see you guys again!

DaNae...one week is way too short. I can't believe that the next time I see you you will be 7 months plus pregnant :) so fun. Can't wait to find out if I have a little neice or nephew. Much love! Tell Jason we say hi.

Waiting for Allie

So this past Tuesday I had my Dr. Appointment for 38 weeks. The doctor checked to see if there was any progression and much to my dismay there was not. I think Allie is going to be just like Kaiya and take all the time she can inside. If she only knew how cool it is to be on the outside :) The best part of the appointment was that we scheduled an induction date for July 22nd. So I know for sure she will be here then. I'm so excited to meet this little one, and really interested in how Kaiya is going to react to a littke sister.

4th of July

Our 4th of July celebration was so much fun and completely exhausting too. We started our festivities off at Roosevelt Park and Zoo around 1 p.m. Kaiya actually fell asleep in the car just as we were getting to the Park so she snoozed in the stroller for a while. Tim and I got an opportunity to check out some of the adult things. When she woke up we got dressed for swimming and enjoyed the new kiddie pool. It honestly took Kaiya about 30 minutes to start enjoying the pool. After she warmed up we couldn't get the little fish out of the water

Grandma and Grandpa Carlson met up with us at the end of Roosevelt Pool and then we all headed over to the zoo.

Once we were done at the zoo we then headed over to Oak Park where River of Life Church was holding a big shin-dig. There were carnaval games, entertainment and free food. We were there from about 2:30-7:30.

These boots were made for walking

Kaiya decided she wanted to wear Tim's work boots. Check out how cute she is.
